Parking Info

Our Central Branch can be accessed from both the front entrance, located at the corner of Navy Street and Lakeshore Road and the rear entrance, located on Water Street (please refer to the map).

Paid parking is available at the rear entrance off of Water St. Parking lot has a 2 hour maximum stay, rates are $1 per hour. Rates are in effect Monday to Saturday, 9:00am to 6:00pm. Parking is free outside of these times.

Metered parking is available across Water St. from the rear parking lot. Metered spaces are available for an 8 hour maximum stay, at $1 per hour.

Driving Directions

Please note: it is not recommended that you use the library address in a GPS system to locate the Central Branch. Doing this will not take you to the parking lot, and there are several one-way streets to contend with. Instead, please follow the driving directions below:

• From the QEW:
• Exit at Trafalgar Rd.
• Head south on Trafalgar Rd.
• Turn right on Dunn St. (one way)
• Turn right on Randall St. (one way)
• Turn right on Navy St. at lights
• Navy St. becomes Water St. as you turn the corner and head down the hill towards the water
• Library entrance is at second parking lot on your left.
