The Oakville Public Library is seeking members for the Teen Advisory Group an exciting and educational way for teens to become involved in their community. The group is comprised of twenty high school students who each assist in advising the public library about collections, events and programs, content as it relates to teens as well as promoting services, collections and programs on behalf of Teen Services.
Teen Programs - Teen Advisory Group
Oakville Public Library is looking for adult and teen volunteers (Grade 10 and up) to assist with Book a Tech Coach, a program that provides one-on-one help to library customers who may have very limited computer skills. The volunteer Technology Coach helps them become more confident and proficient users of computers and mobile devices, assists them with social media and with Oakville Public Library's digital resources. Familiarity with all of the library's eResources, including its website, online databases, eBooks and eMagazines is required for this position.
