To make a donation online, please click on the Donate Now through CanadaHelps.org button. To make arrangements to donate over the phone, please contact Kate Palmer at 905.815.2028, or simply print and complete the donation form and mail to Kate Palmer, Development Officer, Oakville Public Library, 120 Navy Street, Oakville, ON L6J 2Z4.

Ways To Donate

Donate Monthly

By making the commitment to provide monthly support to the Library, you'll be joining a special group of donors who provide a reliable source of revenue for important community literacy projects. Gifts can be arranged by cheque, Visa or MasterCard.

  • You can adjust or cancel your monthly donation at anytime.
  • Monthly giving makes it easy to budget because you give a small, affordable amount each month.
  • Monthly giving minimizes Oakville Public Library's administration, so that more of your money goes directly to Library programs and services.
  • You receive a tax receipt for the amount of the donation.

Donate to the Endowment Fund

Individuals, businesses or foundations, contribute to the Oakville Public Library's Endowment Fund. The gifts are held in perpetuity to provide capital that will generate an on-going and reliable source of future income for the Library. The Library's Endowment Fund is managed by the Community Foundation of Oakville.

Donate Gifts in Kind

With a continuous offering of programs, services and special events, the Oakville Public Library often looks to community businesses to support our programs through the donations of gifts in kind. Gifts in kind can take the form of products or services.

Planned Giving

Planned Giving is a philanthropic program that allows donors to arrange gifts that will contribute to the future strength and excellence of the Library. A planned gift may be outright, providing resources for immediate use, or it may be deferred -- planned for completion at a future date. The following are different planned giving options available to you: Wills, Life Insurance policies, real property, and securities.

Tributes/Memorial

For the special people in your life - tribute or memorial gifts allow you to honour a friend or loved one in a unique and meaningful way. Birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, retirements, Mother's Day and Father's Day are all wonderful opportunities to show that you care.
