Every year the importance of accessing technology in public libraries increases.
A new addition to our online services is the ability for customers to download eBooks and audiobooks to their own mobile devices. Checking out eBooks, means no late fees to worry about!
Customers can simply check out their eBooks through our website with their library card and choose their own lending period.
OPL customers can also now download eBooks and audiobooks not only to MP3's and Sony e-readers but also to
iPods. This service is called Libraries on the Go and has been hugely successful with busy parents and commuters alike, who love the ability to download from anywhere at anytime and listen to their favourite novels or read them whilst 'on the go'!
