Our annual Teen Writing Contest had its most successful year to date with a record number of submissions from Oakville teens, an increase of 22% from 2008. Youth in grades 7-12 were asked to submit an original story around a photo that had been previously selected (shown at left). The results yielded some amazing short stories from our talented teens!
The Write2Xpress contest motivates youth in our community to express themselves and showcase their talents year after year. The participating youths and their families were invited to the Write2Xpress Awards Night held at Iroquois Ridge High School to celebrate their accomplishments.
