This session addresses continuing education and training options available in Ontario.  Become informed on the admission/enrollment process for college and university, including financial options available to students.  Discussions will centre on bridging, mentoring, co-op programs and skilled trades/apprenticeship options.  You will also have a chance to explore the Second Career program.

Identity theft is one of the fastest growing crimes in developed countries.  Don’t wait until it happens to you!  Learn about identity theft and how to prevent it.  In this session you will find out about debit and credit card fraud, bank note counterfeiting as well as cheque and money order fraud.

Assistance is available for filling out citizenship application forms and checking the status of applications. Get help preparing and practicing for the Canadian citizenship test. Workshops are held once a month.

Introduction to Computers for Live-in Caregivers

Hands-on workshops to help live-in caregivers improve or develop their computer literacy skills.
Basic instruction includes typing, internet browsing, email, excel, and power point.
Library tour can also be arranged.
