I Know Words
Vocabulary is knowing the names of things. Books offer vocabulary that conversation and television do not.
- Choose books that have things you don't see every day. Name the pictures as you point to them.
- Talk about feelings - yours and your child's.
- Learn together by reading about subjects your child likes.
