I See Words
Print Awareness includes noticing print on a page, reading from left to right, from the beginning to the end, knowing upside down from right side up.
- Use board books and have your child hold the book.
- Point to the words in the book as you say them, especially words that are repeated.
- Hold the book upside down and see if your child turns it right side up.
