March Break Programs

Our March Break programs will dazzle you as Dazzle Art presents a Beading Bonanza, Sketching & Cartooning Fun and an art program Just for Boys. DigiKidz Digital Experience brings you more digital film-making or explore a magical world as Applefun Puppetry presents Robinhood and the Dragon.

Meet the Owls of Harry Potter as we host the Mountsberg Wildlife Centre or come in your finest royal attire to meet Princess Belle who will give autographs and tell Princess Stories.

Registration for spring / summer 2012 programs will be begin on Saturday, February 11, 2012.  Our program guide will be in branches and online some time the week of January 16, 2012.  In most cases, programs are registered through IRIS

Teen programs, newcomer programs and some special events may have alternate methods and/or deadlines for registration or ticket purchase.

Family Storytimes

Children 3-5 years old are encouraged to bring family members of all ages to share the fun of stories, songs and rhymes.  Come listen, sing along and shake your sillies out!

Kids Cook: Bring on the Heat!

Join the folks from Kids Cook at School to make a yummy winter recipe! Join in for some games, play with colourful props and som some creative dance to the theme music. Bring your food creations home to share with your family.

Kevin Sylvester – Author Event

Kevin Sylvester, CBC personality and award winning children’s author, will discuss his Silver Birch winning title Neil Flambe and the Marco Polo Murders.  Kids will have a chance to ask about his writing and cartooning!  Parents welcome too.
