Description: for our first june event we are confirmed to attend spongelab interactive head quarters (friday is a pd day!). spongelab interactive is a free online science community that consists of fun science games, stunning 3d images and animations. it covers all areas in science, including biology, chemistry, physics and earth sciences. many teachers use spongelab's platform to enhance their science curriculum and to engage those students who are primarily active learners.location: (right above lee valley tools). parking: there are various parking lots and parking garages available around, most charge about $10-$14 * public transit is great on king street west, between bathurst and spadina *go train: one of our cagis mom's did some research and found that the go train leaves the bronte go station at 4:23 pm at the oakville go station at 4:28 and clarkson at 4:36 pm - which will get us downtown in time for the short walk to king street - thanks carlye! topic: spongelab has indicated that they will be exploring both medical illustration and online science games, with suggestions for other areas of interest. please rsvp by may 31, 2012 - this is a joint event with cagis oakville & cagis toronto
