Description: the ymca of oakville is celebrating ymca healthy kids day, a national ymca event. we know that every child in our community has immense potential to grow in spirit, mind and body, and yet thousands of children and youth in canada - the majority, in fact - are not currently getting adequate access to opportunities for active recreation and healthy living. ymca healthy kids day is a free community event celebrating the healthy growth and development of children and families, providing fun and engaging activities, practical information and simple ways kids and families can be healthier in spirit, mind and body. this is just one way our ymca engages our community, come and enjoy the fun at the peter gilgan family ymca. from family zumba to flashmob to skateboarding to youth summer fest, there is something for everyone! visit the website for the event schedule.
