Summer Reading Celebration: Carnival style!

On Tuesday, July 28, OPL will be hosting its second-ever Summer Reading Celebration! From 1:00-2:00pm, children and their parents/caregivers are invited to drop by Glen Abbey Branch for carnival-themed fun. The event is free and all ages are welcome. Activities include:

- a carnival-themed storytime (1:15pm)*
- face-painting
- carnival games
- balloon animals
- a fun photo booth featuring OPaL

*Storytime will begin at 1:15 in the Children’s Area. Attendance for storytime is limited to 140 individuals – the event will be ticketed. Tickets can be acquired at the Glen Abbey Branch information desk on Tuesday, July 28, prior to storytime. There is no attendance limit for other activities.

Buggy Business With the YMCA

Get your baby on board and join us for Buggy Business! This program is designed for exercise, socializing and fun! After we power stroll in the neighbourhood, we will enjoy a storytime provided by the Oakville Public Library. Part of the YMCA of Oakville Steps & Stages Program.

Family Storytime at QEPCCC

Stories, songs, rhymes and movement activities make up this fun-packed drop-in storytime. For children of all ages who are accompanied by their parents or caregivers. Start building a lifelong love of reading!

Croque Matin from Les Coccinelles d’Oakville Inc.

L’heure du conte en français comprend des chansons, comptines et histoires en français pour les enfants de 0 à 5 ans accompagnés d’un parent ou gardien. Storytime — in French! Toddler Storytime
