EBSCOhost

Search Oakville Public Library's suite of EBSCOhost online research databases. To use the EBSCOhost app, access an EBSCO database like Consumer Health Complete using your device's web browser, the Oakville Public Library website and your library barcode and PIN. Click on the "Search Other Databases" link, select EBSCOhost WEB, scroll to the bottom of the screen and and click on "Full Site." Then, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the link to "EBSCOhost iPhone and Android Applications". Enter your email address to be sent instructions, authorization key and a link to download the app.

Mango Languages Library Edition

Free access to more than 34 foreign language courses and 14 English as a second language courses. To use the Mango Languages Library Edition app, first access the Mango Languages database using your device's web browser, the Oakville Public Library website and your library barcode and PIN. Enter your email address and a password to sign up and create a profile. Download the app and enter your profile email and password to gain access.

Naxos Music Library

Stream thousands of tracks of classical, jazz and contemporary music to your device. To log in to the Naxos Music Library app, create a free Playlists login using your web browser, the Oakville Public Library website, the Naxos Music Library database and your library barcode and PIN. Click on the "Sign up" link and register your new account. Once completed, download the app and log in with your Naxos login.

NoveList Plus Mobile

NoveList Plus Mobile is a comprehensive readers' advisory resource for fiction and non-fiction. To log in to the NoveList Plus Mobile website, you will need a free EBSCO User ID and Password. Access the NoveList Plus database via your web browser, the Oakville Public Library website and your library barcode and PIN. Click on the "Sign in to My NoveList" link and then "Create a new Account". Once completed, go to the URL provided in this record and log in with your NoveList/EBSCO id and password. Add the NoveList Plus Mobile icon to your device's screen by using the "Add to Home Screen" feature of your browser.

Download thousands of eBooks and audiobooks from your library directly to your mobile device. Using the "Get Books" option of the app, search for "Oakville" and choose "Libraries on the Go" as the library to search.

Access to teen health and wellness hotlines, help lines, and websites. Also use the app to log into the Teen Health & Wellness database for student homework and self-help using your library barcode. To access the database from the app, touch the "Log on now" link, then Add Account; touch Library Card and enter your Oakville Public Library barcode in the space provided.
