Preparing for Your Citizenship Test

The book Discover Canada: The rights and responsibilities of citizenship will help you study for the Canadian citizenship test. It s accessible in several ways - you may read it online, listen to it, or order your own copy. Copies may also be borrowed from the library.

Click here for the local information you will need to complete your test. You ll find answers to questions about municipal, provincial and federal electoral districts and representatives from Oakville and Halton Region.

  • Practice citizenship test (Richmond Public Library, Richmond, British Columbia).
  • Oakville Public Library offers Canadian Citizenship Test Preparation sessions. A settlement worker from the Halton Multicultural Council is available in the library to help with your citizenship application and provide tips for taking the citizenship test.
