Fit Lit Book Club

Keep your mind active while your body gets fit by joining our new active book club!

Oakville Public Library and the Town of Oakville are excited to launch a free active book club. Here’s how it works:
1. Register for the club beginning Tuesday, May 1st.
2. Attend our book launch on Wednesday, May 30 to pick up your club kit.
3. Borrow a copy of The Nest by Cynthia D’Aprix Sweeney and start reading
4. Get active at one of the following Glen Abbey Community Centre Fitness Drop-ins and then head over to the Glen Abbey Branch library to meet up with other FitLit members to discuss the novel!

Our Fit Lit Book Club combines a great workout with a collaborative reading and discussion experience. Get started with the new Fit Lit regimen and get mind and heart healthy with us!

*Cycle and Yoga takes place in the Fitness Studio at the Glen Abbey Community Centre, Trail Walkers will meet in the Glen Abbey Community Centre Lobby, Book Talk Meet-ups will take place at the Glen Abbey Branch Library.
