Personal Narrative: Stories that Resonate

Writing your life story can take many forms, everything from memoir to personal essays to blogs. Join author/blogger Joyce Wayne to explore ways to successfully turn your thoughts and experiences into memorable stories.  Each week workshop participants are invited to share their writing for constructive and gentle critiquing. If you’ve considered capturing your experiences in print or online, this six-week course will help you to express your thoughts in a professional manner.

Joyce Wayne writes the bi-weekly blog www.retirementmatters.ca. Her first novel, The Cook’s Temptation, was released in 2014 and her second novel, Last Night of the World, will be published in 2018.  Joyce was previously head of the journalism program at Sheridan College and holds a Master’s Degree in English Literature.
