Creation Zone Open Studios

Stop by the Iroquois Ridge Creation Zone every other Wednesday* for a fun and interactive Open Studio session!

Newcomer Youth Tutoring

Free one-on-one tutoring for newcomer youth between 11-19 years old (grades 6-12). Volunteer tutors help students complete homework assignments and assist with essay writing. Subject-specific tutoring (e.g. math, science) is also offered.

Game design uses a combination of art, logic, story development and technology to create engaging interactive experiences. Teen Introduction to Animation

In this three-part workshop, participants will be introduced to character design and learn to produce drawings that will be animated as a digital flip book in the third class. Instructor Enzo Avolio is a professor of Animation and Character Design with studio production credits for both Warner Bros. and Disney.

Two-Hour Tinker

Check out our new Two-Hour Tinker Loanable Tech Toys:

Visit Iroquois branch of Oakville Public Library to explore new technologies and creation. With your FREE library card you can sign out and play with a Code-A-Pillar, Ozobot, Cubelets, Snap Circuits and much more. The length of sign out is two-hours with most of the tech toys to be used in the Creation Zone at the Branch.

Teen Photography Contest

We are excited to host the 6th annual Teen Photogrpahy Contest! We’re changing the format this year, and will be accepting submissions on Instagram and email!
