It is a shimmering shiver

At the bleakest of night

Comes from above

Like pearls in the sky

Lays among the lonesome ground

Frost longing over the world

Darkness our disaster overhead

From a child's image

A gift of play

From a loving sight

Nature in the slightest romance

A mirror of personality

A reflection of hope and dreams

Catastrophic silence amongst us all

Symbolizing a blanket

Surrounding, shuttering, falling

Creating imagination

Of security in life

Darkness overhead at the end The end of autumn

Brings no more light
